Watershed Center Invites the Local Community To Annual Meeting

The Watershed Center invites its members and the general public to its annual meeting, which will be held Sunday, March 16th at 3:00 pm in Bristol’s Howden Hall.

In addition to a quick review of the state of organization and its newly expanded Waterworks forest preserve in northwest Bristol, the gathering will feature a special presentation from conservationist and herpetologist Jim Andrews on the lives of some of the many fascinating reptiles and amphibians found on the property.

The Watershed Center will also introduce its new 2014 officers at the meeting, discuss opportunities for members to become engaged, and host a discussion about people’s experiences on and ideas for both its 1,000-acre natural area and it’s smaller 4-acre Mountain Street forest. Please bring your thoughts! Light potluck refreshments will be served to stimulate the conversation. We will also be drawing the winner of the Sugar Maple Bowl raffle at the meeting so be sure to get your tickets before then or at the meeting.
