Join us in celebrating the conservation of The Lost Pond Forest
Sunday, October 13th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
at the Davis residence in New Haven
Please join us in celebrating The Watershed Center acquiring and conserving the spectacular Jane Harding Gurney property. We will be leading a walk onto the property and also get to hear from Jane Lazorchak of Vermont Fish & Wildlife on the importance of conserving this property for habitat protection. Bring a dish to share, and sturdy shoes but please keep your pets at home. The event will take place rain or shine!
Directions to 368 Meadow Lane, New Haven:
Take North Street from New Haven. Go straight at the four-way stop at Plank Road. Meadow Lane is the second right after this intersection and is marked. Go up Meadow Lane into the woods. The lane will bend sharply to the right and then you’ll come to a hairpin curve to the left. Immediately after this curve, the road forks. Take the left fork, which keeps you on the main lane. 368 Meadow Lane is the first driveway on your right. If you pass a red barn on your right, you’ve gone too far! We are the house below the red barn. Look for a two-tone house (need to finish staining!) with a flat roof, lots of windows, and a tower-like structure on its right side.
