Saturday, April 25th
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Hosted by the Lake Champlain Committee and The Watershed Center
Yes, dog doo is gross!
What’s worse is that pet poop left behind on trails and in our parks enters streams and Lake Champlain from which 200,000 people get their drinking water. Take action on April Stools’ Day to clean up parks and protect waterways.
Meet for “doo-ty” at The Lands of the Watershed Center 4783 Plank Road in Bristol
Contact: Matthew Ham-Ellis at 802 557 1836 or info@thewatershedcentervt.
Gloves, bags, trowels, pails, and hand sanitizer will be provided. We’ll be picking up pet poop and any litter we find along the way.
Participants will receive a package of lake cards (while supplies last) and be entered into a drawing for cash prizes. RSVPs appreciated.
