Help Wanted on Watershed Center Biodiversity Project with Mt. Abe Students

Recently the 7th Grade Viking Crew Students at Mt. Abraham School undertook a project at The Watershed Center properties.  We’re excited to support this student initiated project and are asking for the support of the community. Below is the announcement from the students:

Please Help us Add Data To the Watershed Center Biodiversity Project

We are Mt. Abe students and we started a project that is on iNaturalist.org that will help track the health of the Watershed Center ecosystems.

We’d like you to help collect data about  the Watershed’s ecosystems and add it to the online catalog we’ve created on iNaturalist.org.

If you do not know a lot about ecosystems. we have made field guides on http://www.inaturalist.org/guides/ that will help you identify the species you find at 6 different ecosystems found at The Watershed Center which are: vernal pools, softwood swamps, pond, oak-pine forest, hemlock-northern hardwood forest and marsh.  As you collect data please add it to the iNaturalist .org.
