Watershed Center Invites the Local Community To Annual Meeting

The Watershed Center invites its members and the general public to its annual meeting, which will be held Sunday, March 16th at 3:00 pm in Bristol’s Howden Hall. In addition to a quick review of the state of organization and its newly expanded Waterworks forest preserve in northwest Bristol, the gathering will feature a special presentation from conservationist and herpetologist Jim Andrews on the lives of some of the many fascinating reptiles and amphibians found on the property. We’re “Bowling” for the Forest!

Support the Watershed Center With a Chance to Win This Beautiful Hand-carved Maple Bowl This summer, the Watershed Center did a little timbering at the Waterworks. One of the sugar maples nature gave us had a basal wound that was left to return to the Earth. Later we went back and decided to cut open the abandoned piece. Winter Solstice

  The Watershed Center will host its annual Winter Solstice celebration on Saturday, December 21st at the Waterworks property on Plank Road in Bristol. Everyone is invited to join the fun and welcome back the light at this snow-or-shine community event. The all-weather celebration begins at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 21st at the picnic area on the Norton Brook Reservoir at the Waterworks. Please carpool if possible.. Warbler Warm-Up

Annual Meeting Announcement

Mark your calendars to join us for the Annual Meeting of The Watershed Center. The meeting will be held Sunday, March 24th at 2:30 pm at the Walkover Gallery in Bristol.
